SANY Concrete Machinery Helps Build the New Landmark in Southeast Asia

Landmark 81, the 81-storey skyscraper under construction in Ho Chi Minh City, will become the tallest building in Vietnam upon completion. The total height will reach 461.5 meters, higher than Vietnam's super tall building Keangnam Landmark 72 in Hanoi and the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The mixed-use tower will include high-end apartments, hotels, shopping centers and a 360-degree observatory center.

Invested by a Vietnamese corporation and designed by a French company, the landmark building is scheduled to be inaugurated in 2018. The project director and associate director are both leading experts from Scotland, UK and Australia who worked with SANY during the construction of the Burj Khalifa Tower and Shanghai Tower. During these cooperation, they witnessed the superb performance of SANY products and praised SANY the “world’s leading concrete machinery master”.

All the concrete work of the mat and main building of Landmark 81 are carried out by SANY machines. 5 HBT12020C trailer pumps, 1 HBT9035CH super high pressure trailer pump and 3 HGR28 placing booms have worked around the clock to support the on-time completion of the project. As the construction proceeds, another two super high pressure trailer pumps have been ordered by the customer for the concrete pouring from 200-meter tall to the top floor.

It’s said that, the project equipment supplier HNB, Vietnam’s largest pumping machinery leasing company, started to purchase SANY products early in 2014. Until now, it has owned a total of 16 units of SANY machines. Given the exceptional reliability of SANY machinery in this project, HNB decided to expand its SANY fleet.
